Joseph Richardson Jr., affectionately known as Joe, is a native of Ft. Pierce, Florida. He is a graduate of Westwood High School Class of ’88. After high school, he attended IRSC, FAU & NSU to attain a Specialist degree in Leadership. While others graduated and left the city to begin their careers, Joseph remained to build and mentor the youth in his community. He is a visionary and the founder of Future Generations of St. Lucie County.  He is a lifelong member of the House of Prayer Pentecostal Church, Incorporated, where he serves as the Minister of Music and a Leader. He also serves as a dedicated musician at the River of Life Fellowship Church. He has been awarded many distinguished awards, such as, The Governor Scott Shine Award, The Distinguished Minority Award, St. Lucie Chamber of Commerce Community Impact Award & The Children’s Services Council 2021 Community Impact Award. He has also been recognized by The Boys & Girls Club of St. Lucie County, Ft. Pierce Sunrise Kiwanis Club & local radio, and news stations here in Ft. Pierce. He is a husband, father, brother, papa, uncle, nephew, & cousin. He is a Math Interventionist for St. Lucie County Public Schools. In his spare time, he loves to play golf, partner with other organizations and mentor our Future Generations. And at the heart of his existence is being obedient to his call from God and serving children through his gift and talent of music.
